When are Ramadan and Eid in 2027?

As of October 2026, astronomical calculations put the start of Ramadan 1448 AH in the second week of February 2027, and Eid al-Fitr in the second week of March 2027. These are expected dates only. In Saudi Arabia the Supreme Court calls for moon sighting on the evening of the 29th of the preceding month and announces the result, so the exact day is known only a day or so ahead. Eid al-Adha follows about ten weeks after Eid al-Fitr.

Write messages that survive a one-day shift: say from the first day of Ramadan rather than a calendar date until it is announced, and give Eid cut-offs a day of margin.

How do you set Ramadan and Eid working hours on WhatsApp?

1. In the WhatsApp Business app, open your business profile and save your Ramadan hours under Business hours. The away message follows these hours.
2. Open Tools > Away message, turn on Send away message and set Schedule to Outside of business hours.
3. For the Eid closure, choose Custom schedule with the start and end of the holiday, then switch back to Outside of business hours afterwards.
4. Write the hours with the time zone. Saudi Arabia is GMT+3 all year.
5. Send a test from another phone outside your hours.

What away messages work for Ramadan hours and the Eid closure?

Replace the words in braces and keep the hours and time zone in the text.

• Ramadan hours: Ramadan Kareem from {store}. During Ramadan we reply {10 am to 4 pm} and {9 pm to 12 am} (GMT+3). Orders keep shipping as usual.
• Eid closure: Eid Mubarak from {store}. We are closed from {date} to {date}. Orders placed now ship from {date}, and we will reply when we are back.
• Busy last ten days: Thanks for your message. Gift orders are keeping us busy before Eid, so replies can take up to {24 hours}. Please include your order number.

What Ramadan greeting and offer messages can you send?

Send these only to customers who opted in to messages from your store, and end each with an opt-out line. Replace the words in braces. Single braces are yours to fill; double braces in the next section are filled by the app.

Which automatic order messages need Ramadan wording?

What should an Eid greeting and delivery cut-off message say?

Ask your carrier for its Eid holiday schedule before you promise dates, publish a last-order date with a day of margin, and never state courier dates you cannot confirm. Then send these to customers who opted in.

Are Ramadan and Eid greetings marketing messages?

A greeting that also promotes products is marketing. Meta's template rules for the WhatsApp Business API class birthday greetings and year-end thank-you messages as marketing, and Saudi law asks for consent and an easy opt-out before direct marketing.
