WhatsApp order confirmation message templates for Shopify
A good WhatsApp order confirmation has five parts: greeting with the first name, thank-you with the store name, order number, total, and one link to the order status page. Below are templates in English and Arabic that use the variables WhatsApp Pilot fills automatically, plus a cash-on-delivery variant.

Template 1: standard confirmation (English)
Hi {{customer_first_name}}, thank you for shopping with {{store_name}}! Your order {{order_name}} has been received successfully. Order total: {{order_total}}. Thank you for your order!
Template 2: standard confirmation (Arabic)
مرحباً {{customer_first_name}}، شكراً لتسوقك من {{store_name}}! تم استلام طلبك {{order_name}} بنجاح. قيمة الطلب: {{order_total}}. شكراً لطلبك!
Template 3: cash on delivery (English)
Hi {{customer_first_name}}, we received your cash-on-delivery order {{order_name}} from {{store_name}} ({{order_total}}). Reply YES to confirm, or tell us if anything needs to change before we ship.
Template 4: cash on delivery (Arabic)
مرحباً {{customer_first_name}}، استلمنا طلبك {{order_name}} بالدفع عند الاستلام من {{store_name}} بقيمة {{order_total}}. أرسل نعم للتأكيد، أو أخبرنا إن كان هناك أي تعديل قبل الشحن.
Writing rules
- Keep it under five lines; WhatsApp previews cut long messages.
- One link only, and make it the order status page, not your homepage.
- Use the customer's language: match the template language to the store language or the customer's locale.
- No discounts or promotions in a confirmation; keep it transactional.
